Umiya dham  sidsar history:

Time never waits for anyone. Time does its work at its own pace. He does not stop for a moment to see or enjoy many supernatural and unique events. In the same way, who knew that the village of Sidsar, irrigated by the virtues of yogis and jogis, would be the occasion to light a golden age in the future!

Whenever there is a need for guidance or direction on the creation, the world controller has fulfilled it. He does not seem to have forgotten his children at all. The unfolding of the paradigm from time to time confirms that God has not yet lost faith in mankind.

We hear about many miracles and supernatural events. Such divine events take place at a blessed time or in a blessed place, and since then they have attained immortality in moment-by-moment history. Something similar happened almost a hundred years ago today.

A believer farmer lives in Devda village of Porbandar district. People used to call this Patidar adult Ratanbapa, who was always engaged in satsang and saint service. Simple creature Ratanbapa works as a laborer in Kansagara farm, but the guest who came to Angan came to mind exactly. While serving the roti and sadhus to the visitor, the naive person should recite the Lord's praises. Due to his vulgar nature and devotion to God, the people of the surrounding villages also called him 'Bhagat'. One day a sadhu visited Bhagat in the courtyard as God would have wanted to do something with such a kind devotee. Ratanbapa treated the monk respectfully and served him with devotion. The monk was satisfied with the true heart of this devotee. He said to Bhagat, “O Bhagat! Serve Maa Umiya with your faith and unwavering devotion, life will be blessed and you will become immortal! ”

Since then Ratnabapa has not looked back in worshiping Maa Umiya. Bhagat, unaware of the outward pomp of mother's adoration or the rituals of worship, just day and night worshiped Maa Umiya with a pure heart and the depth of distance. He was also chosen by the world power as the bearer of a wonderful work, due to the splendor of consciousness and selfless devotion emanating from his rom-rom.

One night Ratnabapa is resting on his bed in a dazed state remembering Mataji. Bhav Samadhi has passed the conscious-unconscious states. There they have divine realization. As if in reality Umiya has come and stood. Bhagat considers himself blessed rather than the radiant mukharvind of the mother, the ami darya in the eyes, the glimpse of such a glorious divine form. For a while, I didn't even understand what to do, what to say. Bhagat fell at his mother's feet like a black sand. Blessing the mother, she said, "Son, my idol is buried in the outskirts of Sidsar village, take it out." In the morning, Suryadev rides on his chariot and goes out to bless the universe, but Ratnabapa's tumult continues. The beautiful scenery seen at night does not move from the mind. The fact that this is just an illusion! Will people believe me or not! Thinking like this, the night falls back. Again at night Mataji manifests in the same divine form and the remaining doubts of Bhagat's heart are also removed.

The next day Bhagat comes to Sidsar village. The villagers talk to the people about Mataji's divine revelation and the message of Mataji. At first, people are not ready to believe the truth, but with Ratnabapa's naive face and Mataji's imperceptible communication, people start searching according to the sign of Kankun's companion given by Ratnabapa.

While walking, on the south bank of the river Venu, a small Kanku companion is seen. Excavations begin there, but a huge black rock appears instead of a statue. Just believing in Mataji and throwing stones at Mahamahanta ... The eyes of the people are dazzled by the huge white beam. People were amazed to see the marble statue of Mataji. All were blessed with the sacred fragrance and astral realization as if someone had just worshiped Mataji. For a moment, the twinkling of an eye, looking at Mataji's form, froze. What a magnificent form! Four arms, a rudo chandlo on the forehead, a necklace around the neck, a bracelet on the hands, a toda on the feet and a crown adorning the head! Chaitanyasvarupa Maa Umiya's green sari and a supernatural two and a half foot statue with a red pin on her head! It was as if the mother would just open her mouth to bless her own babies!

This blessed day of spontaneous manifestation of Kuldevi, Rajarajeshwari, Adishakti Mata Umiya of Kadva Patidar clan i.e. Bhadarva Sudi Poonam, Samvat 16. This divine idol was brought to Sidsar village with honor. Word of the unveiling of the statue of Mother Umiya spread throughout the village and the surrounding area. Crowds of people flocked to see Mataji. As if the real quote of mother Umiya was uttered, the joy spread everywhere. At that time Gondal was ruled by the devout king Shri Bhagwat Singhji. He heard the news of the manifestation of this divine idol. This civilized king sent an envoy to Sidsar thinking that a magnificent temple should be built in Gondal and an idol should be installed in it.

The king's angel came to Sidsar and talked about taking the idol to Gondal. Despite the reluctance of the people, Raj obeyed and went to Gondal with the idols of the five leaders. But Maa Umiya's wish was something different. In a dream at night, the mother said to the king, “Rajan! I want to live among my children who work on the earth, so send me back to Sidsar! ” The enthusiasm of the people of Sidsar village was greatly enhanced by this incident. An idol of Mataji was faithfully erected in a simple but sacred small temple.

Mataji's naive devotee Ratnabapa has since taken a vow to dedicate his life to Mataji's lifelong service by wearing only one garment. Bhagatbapa, the eldest son of Mataji, went on an endless pilgrimage to Swadham in Samvat 16 instead of worshiping Mataji. But this divine work done by him and the fragrance of his selfless devotion still compels us to bow down at his holy feet. Today, all the bitter Patidar society is more proud than Bhavvandana at the feet of Ratnabapa.
