History :-

According to the hallowed sacred text of Hindu religion; Padma Purana, Ruler Brahma once ran over a devil named Vajranabha, killing and tormenting individuals. Seeing such outrage, the Ruler killed the evil presence with lotus bloom (his extraordinary weapon). At the same time, a few petals from the lotus bloom fell at three puts on the ground. This came about into the formation of three sacrosanct lakes, which in the present times are known as the Jyestha Pushkar, the Madhya Pushkar and Kanishta Pushkar.

Later on, when the master made his visit to earth, he began with the arrangements of a yajna (fire penance) at the Jyestha Pushkar Lake. To play out the yajna undisturbed by the evil spirits, Ruler Brahma made a chain of slopes around. Nonetheless, his better half Savitri was not accessible for the Yajna, which was troublesome of the procedures.

On this, Master Brahma mentioned Ruler Indra to send him a reasonable partner to finish the Yajna. At the point when a Gujar's little girl, named Gayatri was at last shipped off sit down close to Brahma as his significant other, Savitri showed up. Feeling disturbed, she reviled Brahma that the Master could never be venerated by anybody. She later on allowed his love just in Pushkar. This entitled Brahma sanctuary in Pushkar as the most conspicuous spot to adore the ruler.
