Lal Pari Lake / Lal Pari Lake (Rajkot)

 Lal Pari Lake

The past leaders of Rajkot state assembled Lake Lal Pari in 1895. It was part of the Victoria Golden Jubilee Water Works. The lake gets its water from the Lal Pari River, one of the Aji River's smaller tributaries. The large Lal Pari Lake is a place where people can go to experience the surreal beauty of nature.

Additionally, Randarda Lake is within easy reach. With a generally small area of 0.9 square kilometers, it gets water from neighboring hillocks and additional seepage from the Aji Dam, which was raised toward the south. The Lal Pari Lake is particularly popular with bird watchers and nature photographers due to the large number of birds that visit it annually.

These birds include, but are not limited to, Rosy Pastors, Purple Moorhens, Spoonbills, Common Teal, Black-tailed Godwits, and Pelicans. Additionally, sunrise and sunset are the best times to visit the area. On the banks of the lake, there is likewise a zoo named Pradyuman Zoological Nurseries. The zoo provides a relatively large area with open fences for the tigers and other carnivores.

Will surely visit this place soon.....
