Triveni Sangam Gir Somnath
Because it is a Triveni sangam, or the meeting point of three rivers, Triveni Sangam Ghat in Somnath has long been a place of pilgrimage. Sarasvati, Hiran, and Kapila The Moon god Soma is said to have been cursed by King Daksh Prajapati and lost his shine. To regain his shine, he bathed in the Sarasvati River at this location as part of Lord Shiva's penance.
