This waterfall is situated near the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary. The verdant and lush jungle around the waterfall which discharges water from a height of 30 feet is simply a fascinating site. Ninai Waterfalls is additionally known as the Narmada Waterfalls because it straddling the Narmada Waterway. This stream streams through the slopes and vales and through Bharuch sometime recently it closes within the Middle Eastern Ocean. The waterway streams along a couple of caves and the region around the falls are essentially a virgin nation.

PLACES TO VISIT:


 1. Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary: This sanctuary has an area of around 608 sq. kms. and has an abundance of flora and fauna. There are more than 575 species of flowering plants and the fauna includes sloth bear, rhesus macaque, leopard, chausinga, barking deer, pangolin and a variety of birds and reptiles. The best time to visit the Park is from November to March. The nearest airport is in Vadodara, which is 90 kms. away from the wildlife sanctuary. The nearest railway station is at Bharuch and the nearest bus stand is in Ankaleshwar, 60 kms. away.

2. Sardar Sarovar Dam: The dam is near Rajpipla and is the biggest dam on the Narmada River towering at 128 metres.

3. Surpaneshwar Shiva Temple: Among the many temples near the falls, this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva had to be recreated near the Dam as the original was submerged when the dam was constructed.

4. Malsamot: The Sagai- Malsamot eco campsite is at the foothills of the picturesque hill of Malsamot. It is near the Ninai Falls.

5. Ankaleshwar: This town is 10 kms. away from Bharuch. There is a 133 year old bridge that connects the town over the Narmada River. There are four Jain Temples and many historical places within.

How To Reach Ninai Waterfalls :

Ninai Waterfalls is a three-hour drive from Bharuch and is easy to reach. It’s about 2 hours from the Statue of Unity as well. You will need to walk about 5 KM into the greenery to get to the waterfall area. Because it is so secluded, it is perfect for a group and a family picnic area as well.

WHEN TO GO :

   The climate is moderate with temperature at 250C in summer and in winter, where the minimum can be 150C with rainfalls in the monsoon season. The best season to visit the falls will be from November to February.

How to get there :

By Road : Ninai is located off State Highway 163 (Gujarat). It is approximately 35 km from Dediapada and approximately 143 km from Surat. Nearest railway station is Bharuch which is around 125 km away.

By Train : Nearest Railway is Vadodara which is around 154 km away.

By Air : Nearest Airport is Vadodara Which is around 158.3 Km away.
