Adalaj Temple
Adalaj Trimandir, also known as Adalaj Akshardham or Adalaj Swaminarayan Temple, is a modern temple complex that was inaugurated on 14th February 2012. The temple was constructed under the guidance and inspiration of Pujya Hariprasad Swamiji, a prominent spiritual leader of the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
While the Adalaj Trimandir itself is relatively new, the land on which it is situated has historical significance. Adalaj village is known for the historic Adalaj Stepwell, a stunning architectural marvel built during the reign of Rana Veer Singh of the Vaghela dynasty in the 15th century.
